Now Hiring – Bakery Store Assistant / Production Assistant
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our busy Italian bakery team!
Position Details
• Average 25–35 hours per week
• Tuesday–Friday shifts
• Some weekends required
• All holidays required
Responsibilities Include
• Opening and closing the store
• Serving customers in store
• Taking orders by phone and in person
• Filling, prepping, and maintaining pastries for the storefront and customer orders
• Writing on cakes
• Assisting with baking production (scaling ingredients, rolling cookies, etc.)
• Cleaning, washing dishes, taking out garbage, and maintaining FIFO and sanitation standards
Requirements
• Fluent English required
• Italian speaking is considered an asset
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Comfortable with constant standing, bending, lifting, and long hours
• Able to work in a hot kitchen environment
Bakery or food service experience is preferred but not required.
